Short summary of the majlis 18 February 2018 Hadhrat Maulana Adam Sahib Hafizahullah Sayyiduna Aisha RA says that it is from one of the great blessings of Allah ﷻ upon me that the prophet ﷺ passed away in my house, and in my turn (for the prophet ﷺ to come to my house) and in between my chest and neck. The mufassireen have mentioned regarding surah waaqiah that after reciting the following ayaat: فَلَوْلَا إِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُومَ (83) وَأَنتُمْ حِينَئِذٍ تَنظُرُونَ (84) وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ (85) فَلَوْلَا إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ (86) تَرْجِعُونَهَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ (87) We should recite the dua for ease at the time of death: اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي عَلٰى غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَسَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ (O Allah! Help me bear the pangs of death and the agonies of death.) Mark it in the Quran on the page of surah waaqiah and after these ayaat pray the dua. We should recite the following at night Surah baqarah ayah 1-5 Ayah kursi till end of ayah 257 Surah baqarah last ruku Surah aal imran last ruku Surah Alif laam meem sajdah Surah Waaqiah Surah Mulk Hakeemul ummah ra has written that a person was passing away and every one was doing talqeen of the kalimah (i.e. reciting it in front of him), and the person pursed his lips and kept them closed. The people around him started getting worried that is he not going to recite the kalimah? They called his shaikh. His shaikh came and the person told the shaikh, ‘tell these people to go away. The one whose name they are telling me to take i.e. Allah ﷻ, I am seeing Him with my own eyes’ SubhanAllah Never assume anything about anyone. Sayyiduna Aisha ra said the fourth thing i was blessed with was that my saliva and His ﷺ saliva was together before he passed away. Just before the prophet ﷺ passed away, sayyiduna Aisha RA’s brother came with a miswak in his hand. Sayyiduna Aisha RA saw the prophet ﷺ looking at the miswak. She says that she knew that the prophet ﷺ loved miswak. She then asked the prophet ﷺ if he would like the miswak from her brothers hand. The prophet ﷺ motioned yes by nodding. She then softened the miswak with her saliva and then gave it to him. He would say لا اله الا الله, then after this he ﷺ lifted his hands up to make dua and said of Allah, bilRafiqil Aala (O Allah take me to You). Then he ﷺ passed away. The miswak will help you to say the kalima at the time of death. The miswak is different and the toothbrush is different. Use both! Once hadhrat saw a dream that a pious person was given him a miswak and a toothbrush. The miswak was fresh and looked strong and the toothbrush looked weak. Hadhrat realised this dream was showing the importance of miswak. The prophet ﷺ would use miswak consistently. Even when entering the home etc. He always had a miswak, his teeth were shining.
