Summary of the majlis 22 July 2018 Hadhrat Maulana Adam Sahib Hafizahullah Whenever the prophet ‎ﷺ would pass rocks and mountains, they would say to rasullullah ‎ﷺ, ‘Assalamualaika ya rasullullah’ The dried tree trunk also cried in front of the prophet ‎ﷺ when the new mimbar was constructed due to missing out on the prophet ‎ﷺ using the trunk as a mimbar. We can say ‘Assalamualaika ya rasullullah’ Not with the intention that the prophet ‎ﷺ is directly in front of us, but with the intention that it will reach him ‎ﷺ in that way. When you go to Madina Munawwarah you should recite durood with yearning and eagerness. That person has missed out who hasn’t recited as many durood as he can. To recite durood once in your life is necessary due to the ayah ‎إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and ask peace. [33:56] One sahaba ra once asked the prophet ‎ﷺ O Messenger of Allah, I recite a great deal of salawat; how much of my du‘aa’ should be salawat? He ‎ﷺ said: “Whatever you wish.” The sahaba said: One quarter? He ‎ﷺ said: “Whatever you wish, and if you do more, that will be better.” The sahaba said: One half? He said: “Whatever you wish and if you do more, that will be better.” The sahaba said: Two thirds? He said: “Whatever you wish and if you do more, that will be better.” The sahaba said: I will make all of my du‘aa’ for you. He said: “Then your concerns will be taken care of and your sins will be forgiven.” ‎خلاف پیمبر کسے رہ گزید کہ ہرگز بمنزل نخواہد رسید ‎(جس نے پیغمبر کے راستے سے انحراف کیا وہ ہرگز اپنی منزل کو نہیں پائیگا). If one goes against the way of the prophet ‎ﷺ, you will not reach any kind of status in the eyes of Allah ‎ﷻ. Whatever the prophet ‎ﷺ has told us to pray this is what we should pray.
