Summary of the majlis Thursday 9th August 2018 Hadhrat Maulana Adam Sahib Hafizahullah Sayyiduna Anas ra said that he served the prophet ﷺ for ten years and the prophet ﷺ never said to him why did he do such a thing or why he didn’t do such a thing. This is a miracle of the prophet ﷺ, his character. Once the prophet ﷺ was sitting and was upset, covered in injuries and blood. We think that the prophet ﷺ had such a great status. He did get upset but he was patient. Allah ﷻ sees everything. فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا Certainly you are before Our Eyes [52:48] Allah ﷻ sees everything that the prophet ﷺ is going through. الذي يراك حين تقوم وتقلبك في الساجدين Allah swt sees your movement among those who prostrate [26:219] If Allah ﷻ wanted He could make it so that the prophet ﷺ never becomes sad. This showed the prophet ﷺ’s status. Hadhrat Jibreel as came to the prophet ﷺ and said, “would you like me to show you a miracle of yours?” The prophet ﷺ said yes. Hadhrat Jibreel as looked at a tree behind him andsaid to the prophet ﷺ, “call he tree towards you”. The prophet ﷺ called the tree and it came to the prophet ﷺ. Hadhrat Jibreel as then said tell the tree to return. So the prophet ﷺ did and then said Hasbi Hasbi (Allah ﷻ is enough for me). Then the prophet ﷺ has sukoon (peace). Another hadith has been narrated in Muslim Shareef that the prophet ﷺ came down from his animal to relieve himself in an empty deserted place whilst he was travelling. He started walking far away from everyone for some privacy. Hadhrat Jabir ra took some water and decided he would go with the prophet ﷺ. The prophet ﷺ looked around, but there was no place where he could conceal himself. He saw that there was two trees far away. He went to one tree, held it by its branches like it was an animal and said, “with the will of Allah ﷻ, come!” and he brought it forward. He then went to the other tree and held it by its branches and said, “with the will of Allah ﷻ, come!” and he brought it forward near the other tree creating a cover. Hadhrat Jabir ra went away so that the prophet ﷺ could have some privacy. Then the prophet ﷺ returned and they returned. جَاءَتْ لِـدَعْوَتِهِ الأَشْـجَارُ سَـاجِدَةً تَمْشِـي إِلَيْهِ عَلىٰ سَـاقٍم بِــلاَ قَدَمِ The trees answered his call (in the state of) prostrating, (and they were) walking towards him on (their) shins without feet. كَـأَنَّمَا سَـطَرَتْ سَـطْرًا لِمَا كَتَبَتْ فُرُوْعُهَـا مِنْ بَـدِيْعِ الْخَطِّ فِي اللَّـقَمِ It is though (the trees were) drawing lines (while they were coming toward the Holy Prophet ﷺ) that were written with their branches (and were) making beauty (of perfection of the Holy Prophet ﷺ) by obeying his command. اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مَنْ سَجَدَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ الْأَشْجَار O Allah send salutations upon the one in front of whom, the trees prostrated Trees prostrating in front of the prophet ﷺ is different to us prostrating in front of him ﷺ (as this is shirk). All of the miracles of the prophet ﷺ are from Allah ﷻ. On the day of judgement, some people will be called and interceded for by the prophet ﷺ, whilst everyone is waiting. These are those who recited the most durood and those who followed the sunnah. Spend your whole life following the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ. Everyone has to eat, drink and do daily chores etc. Follow the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ. There are two instances in which it is good to drink standing. 1- when drinking zamzam and 2- when performing wudhu with a mudd, drinking the water left over. It is also a miracle of the prophet ﷺ that there is a sunnah way for every action. Becoming an Alim and learning is easy, we need to put this knowledge into practice. We should also ask Allah for help for this and ask Allah ﷻ to help us act on the sunnah and recite durood. We will achieve sukoon (inner peace) when we act upon what we have learnt.
