It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: _I know a Verse which if all the people followed it, it would suffice them. “And whosoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him from where he did not even imagine.” (Ibn Majah)_

The portion of the Qur’ān above is mentioned in Sūrah Ṭalāq, verses 2 and 3. It implies that whosoever is conscious of Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ will certainly open ways for him and grant him relief from all forms of pain and distress. And the Āyah continues, Allah ﷻ will also make their means of provisions easy for them.
However, it is important to remember that seeking provisions is an obligation amongst the obligations. Merely sitting at home waiting for provisions from Allah ﷻ is not how it works. One must make an effort to earn and provide for themselves and family. And after earning, we then rely on Allah ﷻ.

Taqwā means to abstain from sins. Be it sins of the hands, eyes, ears, nose or feet. As humans we naturally err, and so we should immediately turn and repent to Allah ﷻ. Make a habit of making tawbah before sleep, as we never know if we will be fortunate enough to make it to the next day. If we happen to pass away in our sleep, then the last thing we did before we slept is the state that will be considered the state in which we passed away. If we made zikr and slept and then the angels come to take our soul, we would indeed have had a beautiful death.

Don't fall for the trap of Shaiṭān. Be strong and strive against the nafs . Some beautiful du'ās to make are:
*اللهُمَّ قِنِي شَرَّ نَفْسِيْ*
"O Allah,protect me from the evil of my soul"
*اللهُمَّ اعْصِمْنِيْ مِنَ الشَّيْطَان*
"O Allah, protect me from the devil"
“O Allah! Make Your fear and remembrance the obsession of my mind and divert my will and courage to the performance of deeds that please You.”
*"...* 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 *"*
Ḥaḍrat Mawlāna Gangohi رحمه الله, a legendary scholar of the past, would host a lot of visitors. This made some people wonder where he gets the means to provide from for so many people. On a side note, we should remember: never think bad of any of the friends of Allahﷻ, as this can be very detrimental to our Īmān. As Allah ﷻ declares a war with anyone who develops enmity with His friends (as mentioned in a Hadith Qudsi). Nevertheless, a man visited the shaykh and stayed with him for 3 days trying to find out where he gets his provisions from. Eventually after failing in his mission, he asked the Shaykh "Ya Shaykh! Where do you get your provisions from to host so many people daily?" The Shaykh replied "Through tawakkul."
The man asked, "what is tawakkul?" The Shaykh said "you won't understand at this moment". The man learnt a lot during his stay. Before leaving, he placed money in an envelope and gifted the Shaykh. The Shaykh asked him "What is the envelope for?" He said “It is a gift for you". The Shaykh said “This is what tawakkul is.”
Allah ﷻ provides, from means we least expect, and sometimes through means we don't even understand! Through taqwā, and reliance on Allah ﷻ, all our affairs will be sorted out for us. Through taqwā, our yaqīn and Īmān gets stronger, it leads to the love for Allah ﷺ and true love for Rasūlullah ﷺ.

Lastly, Ḥaḍrat advised reading Sūrah Ikhlāṣ, Falaq, and Nās every night, anytime after Maghrib ṣalāh. If possible, blow into the hands and rub over one's body. This will be very beneficial in shā'Allah.
```May Allah ﷻ grant us the ability to practise on everything that has been said. Āmīn```
