The rulings of deen are easy, don’t make them hard for yourself

Short Summary of the majlis 3 May 2018 Hadhrat Maulana Adam Sahib Hafizahullah Once the prophet ‎ﷺ kept a fast and he didn’t do iftaar and kept a fast the next day too (without eating). The prophet ‎ﷺ told the sahabas not to do this. Allah ‎ﷻ wants ease for us not hardship. When Hadhrat maulana Qasim Nanotwi ra was older, the doctor told him he should not be using water as his health will deteriorate. He continued using water for wudhu as his heart did not feel right. His teacher saw him doing this and told him not to because if the shariah has given us some ease, we should take it. After this he started performing tayammum instead of wudhu due to his illness. There is humility in taking the ease when we need to. One whilst traveling, a sahabi fasted and his fellow travellers were holding a cloth over him to shade him as he was feeling faint. The prophet ‎ﷺ heard of this and said not to fast when traveling as it could cause harm. Deen is easy. When we need to we can take the easier ruling. Sayyiduna Aisha RA said that there were two specialities at the time of the passing of the prophet ‎ﷺ. 1- the prophet ‎ﷺ’s saliva and hers mixed on the miswak just before she passed away. 2- he ‎ﷺ passed away in her lap. Some duas hadhrat made today O Allah give us the tawfiq to become content. O Allah every breath we take is a blessing. Forgive our sins Give us khatima nil khair. O Allah forgive our parents. Forgive our relatives and family and forgive the ummah of the prophet ‎ﷺ. O Allah grant us all of this from Your mercy and kindness. Nothing is due to our deeds. Our deeds are not even good deeds, You know this as You have knowledge of everything. O Allah if were not for Your mercy, then everyone would be destroyed.
