1 Ramadhan 1431 10 August 2010 Hadhrat gave a short bayan after taraweeh daily during the Ramadhan of 1431. Summary of the bayan: We should all make dua. When muslims get together to make dua then Allah ﷻ accepts the dua. Shaikh Sa’di ra says شنیدم که در روز امید و بیم بدان را به نیکان ببخشد کریم سعدى خوف اور امید(قيامت) کے دن، کریم نیک لوگوں کی طفیل میں برےلوگوں کو بخش دیگا On the day of hope and fear (day of judgement), the most merciful will forgive the sinners for the sake of the pious people. A lot of people will be forgiven due to the good people they would spend time with. Hadhrat Haji Imdadullah ra would say that many shuyukh would restrict people pledging bay’at to them and would require them to reach a certain status first. Hadhrat Haji Imdadullah ra says that he accepts everyone’s bay’at as he doesn’t know whom Allah ﷻ has accepted and on the day of Judgement will hold his hand and take him to Jannah due to their good deeds. If Allah ﷻ didn’t want us to go to Jannah He wouldn’t have given us Ramadhan and surah Ikhlas. Sayyiduna Ali ra mentions this. Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said, “The supplications of three persons are never turned away: a fasting person until he breaks his fast, a just ruler, and the supplication of the oppressed which is raised by Allah above the clouds, the gates of heaven are opened for it, and the Lord says: By my might, I will help you in due time.” The shariah has a ruling that whenever you employ anyone, give them their wages at the end of the promised time. If you promised weekly then at the end of the week. If you’ve promised monthly then at the end of the month. When we fast Allah ﷻ gives us our wages before the end of iftar. Our duas are accepted at the time of iftar. Also we have to give employees only exact amount that was promised or else our wealth will finish, but Allah ﷻ’s wealth never finishes. So at the time of iftar, whatever we ask for we will be given without limit. Even if we don’t see it straight away, we will get it soon, if not in this world then in the hereafter. Mujaddid Alf Thani ra was a great pious person. He was once imprisoned. The King of the time saw the prophet ﷺ in a dream. The prophet ﷺ was showing his unhappiness that Mujaddid Alf Thani had been imprisoned. The king woke up and straight away, told the guards to let him go. Mujaddid Alf Thani ra says that in the remaining 11 months of the year, Allah ﷻ’s mercy is like a huge river, you can see the riverbank but it is very far away. In Ramadhan, Allah ﷻ ‘s mercy is like the ocean- it is limitless! At the time of iftar, spend 10 mins if you can’t then 5 minutes and make dua. InshaAllah it will be accepted as long as you don’t ask for a na-jaiz (impermissible) thing. Throughout the whole year we complain about our problems and ask for taweez etc. We should ask Allah ﷻ at the time of iftar. Make a list of everything you want to ask for and make the dua at iftaar, InshaAllah it will be accepted. May Allah give us tawfiq. O Allah. O most merciful. O One whose mercy encompasses the seven seas accept our deeds. O Allah we have no good in us, we have nothing of value, we have no accomplishments. We are like that child who goes to his mothers lap covered in dirt and impurities. O Allah we are at Your door, fully covered with the impurities of sin head to toe.
