Praying for rain 💦

Summary of the majlis 26 July 2018 Hadhrat Maulana Adam Sahib Hafizahullah Once after the prophet ‎ﷺ passed away, there was a drought. The people of Madinah Munawwarah came to Hadhrat Aisha RA and asked her to make dua. She told the people to go to the grave of the prophet ‎ﷺ and make small hole in the roof. So that the sky can see the grave. At that time there was not a dome, but the hole is in the dome right now too. This hole is still visible in the green dome today. This was a miracle of the prophet ‎ﷺ after his passing away, because again despite there being no visible clouds before, it started raining heavily. It rained so much that the greenery grew so much that the camels ate so much and became so fat that their skin started ripping. At the moment we have had no rain for quite a while. ‎أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ الْمَاءَ الَّذِي تَشْرَبُونَ (68) أَأَنتُمْ أَنزَلْتُمُوهُ مِنَ الْمُزْنِ أَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنزِلُونَ (69) لَوْ نَشَاءُ جَعَلْنَاهُ أُجَاجًا فَلَوْلَا تَشْكُرُونَ And have you seen the water that you drink? Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful? [56:68-70] If Allah ‎ﷻ wanted the rain could taste bitter. We should recite Durood tunjina InshaAllah, it will rain ‎اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلاَةً تُنْجِينَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ الأَهْوَالِ وَالآفَاتِ وَتَقْضِي لَنَا بِهَا جَمِيعَ الْحَاجَاتِ وَتْطَهِّرُنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ السَّيِّئاتِ وَتَرْفَعُنَا بِهَا عِنْدَكَ أَعْلَى الدَّرَجَاتِ وَتُبَلِّغُنَا بِهَا أَقْصَى الْغَايَاتِ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْخَيْرَاتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَمَاتِ. And we should also recite the following durood: ‎اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ صَلاَةً كَامِلَةً وَسَلِّمْ سَلاَماً تَامًّا عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ تَنْحَلُّ بِهِ الْعُقَدُ وَتَنْفَرِجُ بِهِ الْكُرَبُ وَتُقْضَى بِهِ الْحَوَائِجُ وَتُنَالُ بِهِ الرَّغَائِبُ وَحُسْنُ الْخَوَاتِمِ وَيُسْتَسْقَى الْغَمَامُ بِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ وَعَلى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ فِي كُلِّ لَمْحَةٍ وَنَفَسٍ بِعَدَدِ كُلِّ مَعْلُومٍ لَكَ “O Allah! Bestow complete blessings and perfect peace on Sayyidina Muhammad and for his sake may all our difficulties be removed, all calamities and agonies prevented; all needs fulfilled; all our cherished desires obtained; and a felicitous end to earthly life attained (with iman); and (give us) rain-showering clouds through the generous countenance of the Prophet ‎ﷺ, and (bestow blessings and peace as well) on his family and companions in every moment and every breath, as many times as is in Your Knowledge (that is, unlimited blessings).” This durood says وَيُسْتَسْقَى الْغَمَامُ بِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ which means “and (give us) rain-showering clouds through the generous countenance of the Prophet ‎ﷺ “ Once there was a drought in Makkah, so the people came to Abu Talib (the ‎prophet ﷺ’s uncle) and requested him to come and make a prayer. Abu Talib made his way to the Ka’bah, taking with him the prophet ‎ﷺ. He made dua and rubbed the back of the prophet ‎ﷺ on the Ka’bah. Straight away it started raining heavily, despite there not even being a sign of a cloud before. This was in the youth of the prophet ‎ﷺ . Even then his greatness was apparent.
