When the prophet ﷺ reached Madina Munawwara , the people were very happy. They were celebrating and singing due to his coming to Madina Munawwara. Anas ra said that he did not see a better day than the day the prophet ﷺ came to Madina Munawwara. Everyone was happy and celebrating. The children started singing “tala al badru alayna”. This place is still marked in Madinah Munawwarah. On the day that the prophet ﷺ reached madina Munawwarah, everything was shining and bright. Many people accepted Islam just by looking at the prophet ﷺ’s face, saying, “this is a face that cannot say a lie”. When the prophet ﷺ passed away, all the sahabas were upset. Sayyiduna Umar ra out of grief said if someone says that the prophet ﷺ has passed away he will kill him. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr ra was not present there, so when he came he kissed the forehead of the prophet ﷺ and then covered his blessed face. Then he went to Sayyiduna Umar ra and explained to him by saying is it not in the Quran that: إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ (30) ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ (31) Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute. [39:30] Then the sahaba understood. They said when Sayyiduna Abu Bakr ra said this ayah it felt as though it was the first time they had heard it even though they had definitely heard it before. So Sayyiduna Abu Bakr ra explained to them. When they were unsure where to bury the prophet ﷺ, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr ra said that he heard the prophet ﷺ had said that the prophets are buried where they pass away. So they buried him in that room. Then when Sayyiduna Abu Bakr ra passed away, he was also buried there. Then when Sayyiduna Umar ra was injured he asked Sayyiduna Aisha ra for permission to be buried there too.
Continued from the specialities of the prophet ﷺ from the Tafseer Azizi - the prophet ﷺ went to the heavens (not in a dream) - When we wake up after the trumpet it blown, the prophet ﷺ will be the first to awake. - He will be given Maqaam Mahmud. This is a status that no one will receive and it is something we cannot even imagine. (As it is mentioned in the dua after the athaan. If we recite this dua after athaan InshaAllah the prophet ﷺ will intercede for us. There is no urgent work, going to Jannah is urgent is it not!). There was once a woman who at the time of passing away was saying something but the people around her could not understand. A pious person came and said that she is saying that the angels have come to take her to Jannah. The pious person asked the people around her that was there something she specifically did. They said yes. Her job was washing dishes, when she would hear the athaan, she would stop even if her hands were in the sink or water, in respect to listening to the athaan and answering. It was this act that gave her this status.
There are so many people crying to Allah ﷻ at one time. If four children in our house were to cry, how merciful would you feel?
It can’t be that you pray something once, you have to keep praying it for it to take effect.
